Building Bridges
Definition: The Alamo Area Home Care Council Building Bridges Program is a cooperative effort to provide resources and support to our community through affiliations with local and regional organizations.
Mission: To partner with area resources through mutual support, promotion and education for the benefit of the communities we serve.
Actions:

To cultivate solid relationships with our partners

To share knowledge of each others’ missions and services

To participate in mutually beneficial community projects
Home Care Hero Award:
Every year the Alamo Area Home Care Council chooses an outstanding local person who is actively making a difference in the home-care industry. The individual chosen exemplifies compassion and initiative beyond standard expectations.

The AAHCC Amigo is our annual
beneficiary for fundraising.
Designated January 1st – December 31st.
Our Christmas Gala Fundraiser is specifically
held to raise money for our Amigo.

Oasis - Discover Life After 50 – Programs range from arts and humanities to consumer interest, fitness and health.
Humor for Heroes strives to demonstrate our appreciation to current and former military members by providing an entertaining night of comedy, fostering connections with military resources and contributing much needed financial support to military charities.
Meals on Wheels of San Antonio prepares and delivers hot, nutritious meals each weekday to homebound seniors living in Bexar County.
